A: I went from a 29" tire to a 33" and it cost me +8mph at 60mph.
(+4mph at 30mph)

Your biggest problem is changing your rear end. If you put bigger tires with out changing your rear end to a lower gear ratio.
You Will Eat the 1st gear out of your transmission with in a year guaranteed
But if you swap the rear end chunk out to say a 4:11 or lower you will be O.K.
It is a major load getting these tires to start turning.
There is a balance to a vehicles ratios you can not change just 1 without harming another.

Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Light (for vehicles sold in U.S.A.)
This light reminds you when to replace the engine oil.
This light will come on when the ignition key is turned to ON and will go off after about a few seconds.
When you drive for about 7200 km (4500 miles) after the engine oil replacement, this light illuminates for about 3 seconds and then flashes for about 12 seconds with the ignition key turned to the "ON" position.
If you continue driving without replacing the engine oil, and if the distance driven exceeds 8000 km (5000 miles), the light will come on after the ignition key is turned to "ON" position, and will remain on thereafter.
If the light is flashing, we recommend that you replace the engine oil at an early opportunity depending on the driving and road conditions.
If the light comes on steady, replace it as soon as possible.
The system must be reset after the engine oil replacement.
Reset the system by the following procedure:
Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown.
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

A: i own a repair shop,,and its not recommended that the owner change the fluid,,that's why its not in the book,to change it you have to drop the pan and clean it all off,its a little harder than it sounds like it is to do,,you can mess up real easy without knowing it,and then your going to be out some money to get it repaired,,beside that its new it don't need changed yet,,let the dealer take care of it as long as its under warranty,good luck i hope this help,s.

I want to put subs in an 2006 tacoma std cab. I know i need to put them in a box behind the seat... do i need to upgrade the head unit or can i run them off the factory system... also do i need an amp in doing this or can i juice the sub off a speaker wire in the back? as you can prob tell I'm clueless when it comes to audio and subs.
A: powering subs from a factory radio is not a good idea. Doing that would take power from the other speakers that you tapinto & besides that it would not supply the sub with enough power to sound any good. You do not need to replace the OEM head unit if you dont want to... the main benefit to doing so is the possinility of gaining sub control.Sub control gives you the chance to turn up or down the sub volume when you please without bothering the other speakers.

On the models with the VSC function, the Auto LSD switch has been discontinued, and the VSC OFF switch and the VSC OFF light have been provided.
The VSC/TRAC warning light has been discontinued. As the VSC/TRAC warning light has been
discontinued and the VSC OFF light has been added, the illumination patterns of the respective warning lights and indicator lights during the operation and the malfunction of the brake control system have been changed.
4. Tire Pressure Warning System
The illumination pattern of the tire pressure warning light during the tire pressure warning system
malfunction has been changed

The following indicator lights have been newly added or discontinued in the combination meter.
The RSCA (Roll Sensing of Curtain shield Airbag) OFF indicator light has been added for the models with the RSCA.

The RSCA has been newly provided on the models with the curtain shield airbag.
The RSCA OFF switch, which turns OFF the RSCA, is also used.
The passenger airbag manual ON-OFF switch, which was provided for the regular cab type models with the front bench seat, has been discontinued.
7. Audio System
The neodymium speaker is used to reduce the speaker body weight.
