Q: 03 GMC SIERRA wont turn over all accessories dead.?
Today i shut off the truck,but the radio was still playing even without the key..no accessories worked,and truck would crank but not turn over.....so my husband disconnected the battery and then every thing went back to normal and we drove it home....any ideas what happened and will it happen again? What i mean is it would turn over but not start..not catch...what would make the radio keep playing with no key in and no acc. and not turn on???please any ideas are welcome...our only vehicle....3 kids The radio was playing with the door open and no key in.

A: you may have not gotten the key all the way to the off position when you pulled out the key this will cause this as the security system will reconise the key is gone with the accy on when you turned it off and waited 1/2 hour the security reset and the car started get a new key code cut from the dealer this will fix it

A: The factory stopped this years ago to save money.This is the reason the factory options come with the necessary parts and wiring to install.Best of luck.
